Round 4 PC post with Dazai
Jun. 22nd, 2019 06:05 pmDazai's quarters can be found in the studio building. It's one of the doors off of the main hallway, not far from the stage itself. The door itself is labeled with his name. Most of the time it is unlocked, but he does lock it at night or when he's with someone else.
There is an open parlor area, with a couple couches and a low table. Off to one side of the room is a taller table with some booze bottles on it, all still mostly-full. On another wall is a door, which presumably goes to another part of his quarters, maybe his bedroom? And there is also a table and desk chair to one side, which appears to be a working space. All of the walls are lined with bookshelves, which are full of countless books.
Feel free to knock, or walk right in if the door is open.

...it's probably alright. I don't think they can open a bottle.

Still, she might just. Sink into the Snorlax plush again.]
How has so much happened today...?

Date: 2019-07-02 05:59 am (UTC)...Oh, right. TV Show.
[Okay, let's try to pick ourselves up, and...]
It's probably improper of me to offer help, but just the same, if you think I can help you go through some of the paperwork, I'm here anyways, so I can probably help at least a little.

Date: 2019-07-02 06:12 am (UTC)It's a lot of raw data.]
It's stuff like viewership numbers, correlation between turning in and what's on at that time, fluctuations based on who's on screen, things like that. Luckily it doesn't stream 24 hours a day, it would be a nightmare to sift through that much data.

Date: 2019-07-02 06:18 am (UTC)[Time to get to work! This paperwork isn't going away on its own, after all!
This is most definitely not her trying to give herself something to do so she feels like she's doing something and focus on something other than the fact that she's trapped in a murdergame, of course it isn't.]no subject
Date: 2019-07-02 06:44 am (UTC)[There is so, so much data on that paper. 'Viewer numbers', 'favorite characters', and 'peak times' are the first three categories to look at.]

Date: 2019-07-02 06:50 am (UTC)[...'peak times' is tempting, but we'll probably need to compare that to 'viewer numbers', so Ellie will start with 'Viewer numbers' for the time being.]

Date: 2019-07-02 02:51 pm (UTC)['Viewer numbers' tends to peak at the times you would expect: afternoons, during games and announcements, and so on. The 'truth or dare' game saw an uptake in viewers as well though, and was the second-highest number of viewers after the Saturday game (which were 'about 9,000' and 'about 10,000' respectively). Well above the number needed to satisfy the containment procedure for this SCP, but that's probably on purpose to make sure there's never a point where it drops below 200.]

Date: 2019-07-02 04:00 pm (UTC)[Okay, let's get all of this organized, then. Once all this stuff is organized, we can start working on 'peak times'... Though actually, how does the information in the 'peak times' category differ from the information in the 'viewer numbers' category, anyways?]

Date: 2019-07-02 04:13 pm (UTC)This is a battle to determine the fate of all members of the 6350 group, so I'm not surprised that it gets priority. All eyes are on us right now.
...or, well. 10,000 eyes, currently. But as more people hear about what's going on, that number is only going to increase. There's over a million people in the Foundation, so that's plenty of people to watch.

Date: 2019-07-02 04:19 pm (UTC)[Okay then, time to get peak times organized as well. Still, the fact that people are tuning into the truth or dare stuff is a good sign. It means that at the very least, people care about those moments almost as much as when our lives are on the line.
...Once she's finished organizing that section, it's time to tackle the 'favorite characters' section that she's been avoiding.]

Date: 2019-07-02 04:33 pm (UTC)Also, the most popular boys are Akira, Oda, and Atsushi Nakajima, while the most popular girls are Saki, Aqua, and Azura. Inaba has a very aggressive fan in the comments though, who keeps defending everything she does. Three guesses as to who that is. There also seems to be a flame war between two sides: one who hates Dazai and thinks he represents everything wrong with the Foundation, and the other that sees him as a victim in this just like everyone else.]
It was only supposed to be broadcast in California too, but I've heard of the broadcasts reaching as far as the east coast. It could go global, with streaming.

Date: 2019-07-02 04:50 pm (UTC)[But yes, let's get all of this organized properly. Once all this is set up, it's time to pass them back to Dazai for verification. So hey, you're the center of a flame war.]
...I wonder what's going to happen to the actual Dazai when he ends up released and suddenly the center of all this controversy.

Date: 2019-07-02 05:26 pm (UTC)Oh, he's probably going to be furious. I'm trying not to think about his future vengeance on me, it's not going to be pretty.
