Dazai's quarters can be found in the studio building. It's one of the doors off of the main hallway, not far from the stage itself. The door itself is labeled with his name. Most of the time it is unlocked, but he does lock it at night or when he's with someone else.

There is an open parlor area, with a couple couches and a low table. Off to one side of the room is a taller table with some booze bottles on it, all still mostly-full. On another wall is a door, which presumably goes to another part of his quarters, maybe his bedroom? And there is also a table and desk chair to one side, which appears to be a working space. All of the walls are lined with bookshelves, which are full of countless books.

Feel free to knock, or walk right in if the door is open.

It's imitation crab. I'm not actually sure if that's better or worse. Either way, you don't have to eat it if you don't want to. I don't mind preparing some salads for you next time, either...

...That being said, are you sure you can handle this for weeks? I mean, you already used your real voice in front of everyone and even announced yourself as a master of disguise...

Wait, was the actual person the type to disguise themselves too?

He did, sometimes. He was also someone who boasted for the sake of seeming competent in everything he did. But he's also a freaking genius, and I just can't keep up with how quickly he's supposed to be thinking. Thank fuck this is only for a few weeks, I couldn't keep up with this forever.

[John is a lot of things, but he's not nearly as smart or quick-witted as Dazai.]

I'll eat it, it's fine. Though some American food would be awesome too. I have to stick to mostly Japanese stuff whenever I make it for myself, since there's cameras in the kitchen and all. If 'Dazai' ate a burger for lunch people would be suspicious.

American food... I'll... see what I can do there. I'll try to get something you'll like for lunch from now on, at least. After all, it's probably fine if it's just me "forcing" you to eat something "you" don't like, right?

Okay then, I'll see if I can grab the job of making lunch for you.

Right, I should probably ask, too... Is the actual... person you're disguised as, going to be a problem? I mean, obviously you took his place, but what happened to him? What are the chances of him showing up and disrupting things?

[She just... wants to make sure that's not an issue, since then things are going to be really hard to keep you safe.]

Oh, nah, it's fine. I stole his clothes and left him with one of my friends. He's fine, we're gonna let him go after this is over.

So he's a live and with a friend... Okay, that's probably fine, then. We should only be here for ten weeks at the most, right?

Hopefully less than that. Acting like this guy is really draining. Plus it's really easy to be mean while acting like him.

...Yeah, I can understand that.

[She really can! Well, perhaps not the "acting like Dazai specifically", but she does remember how exhausting it was to wear the actual proper uniform for the Inquisitors, and also how wearing it always made it so much... easier to end people's lives. That was why she never wore it on Academy Island after all. She even made a point to not use guns unless it was Inquisition work back home. Even when she got assigned to killswitch duties, she tried to make a point of not using any of her actual star energy-based powers and magic for it.]

Yeah...

[He sort of just trails off there, and then he frowns.]

...I'll make it as short as I can. I might be able to cut it down to six weeks, if I do things right. But it's going to be tough.

If we can cut it down to six weeks, that would be great. Is there anyway I can help with that?

One way to do that is for there to be a legit winner, which is a definite 'no'. The other way is to play the game in such a way that the A-class Agent at site 4 intervenes, and then try to get them onto our side. But in order to do that, nobody can kill each other. The longer we go without a contestant-caused death, the more likely the A-class is to intervene.

So basically, I need help keeping everyone from murdering each other.

...How much do we know about Site-4's A-class Agent, anyways?

I haven't worked with them at all before this. And even here, I only spoke to them a couple times. All I know is that they're from this world, and they have been with the Foundation since they were a child.

[This seems familiar... Very familiar...]

...They might be similar to me, in some ways.

In some ways, yes. But they're very different in others.

That's true, yes. Even those of us raised as Inquisitors back home were all different, after all. Still, there's probably a bit of history we share, even though our worlds are different.

After all, we've both been raised by secretive organizations that believe in protecting humanity from dangerous entities no matter the cost.
